You will see your property through the eyes of one of Schaefer’s highly trained and conscientious inspectors. Each inspector comes with a background in building and construction in commercial properties. Marvin and Bruce train each inspector personally, which includes classroom time in their training center and hands on field experience before they qualify to inspect your commercial building

Every building is unique and may require one or more specialized evaluations to give a complete assessment of the property.  In rare cases, individual systems may be very complex and a general commercial inspection may not be adequate.  The only way to obtain a satisfactory inspection for these types of systems is to obtain the services of someone who specializes in that particular field. As your consultants we will work with you to locate these expertise if needed.

Some commercial properties require a phase 1 or phase 2 evaluation. Schaefer can assist you in locating a company that provides this type of evaluation.
 

For an additional fee: Schaefer can perform many additional types of tests along with the general inspection.  If any evaluation is beyond the scope of our evaluation, Schaefer will locate and schedule other specialized companies to accomplish this work. At no cost to you: If a specialized evaluation is needed that is beyond our expertise, Schaefer will make every reasonable effort to point you in the right direction so you can save money by locating and scheduling the right technician on your own.

Your Schaefer inspector will gather field notes and photos of the property throughout the course of the inspection.  A report containing this information will be generated and reviewed by Mr. Schaefer or a senior inspector to ensure a quality report.  The report  will then be mailed to you, typically within 48 hours of the inspection date.
