Bruce Schaefer The inspection on the property was very thorough, informative and professional. From beginning to end, I was encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification on every aspect of the property's construction, mechanical systems and maintenance. I believe I gained valuable information about the property, and I was also encouraged to seek outside sources (contractors/town) for answers to questions which were not immediately available at the property. The inspector was articulate and clear in his explanations and evaluations.

We had the pleasure of having Tom Tussing do our home inspection. He promptly arrived at the time of the appointment, and we immediately felt at ease upon meeting him. Mr. Tussing was very through in his inspection of the home and very easy to ask questions and his answers were easy to understand and complete as far as not needing to ask him to elaborate on the subject any further. He was also very patient during the inspection, we had our 4 year old son running around trying to do as the “Big Boys” do (following his Daddy & Mr. Tussing) around asking many questions and not being very helpful. TOM BEGG
I wanted to take a moment to inform your company of the exceptional service we received from your inspector Thomas K. Begg. My husband Daniel and myself were very impressed with Mr. Begg's patience with our never ending questions and his willingness to stop at any moment to address any of our concerns. As first time home buyers, we are very concerned about making a sound investment. Mr. Begg gave us all the appropriate information to help guide us in our decision concerning our current offer. Although we will be rescinding our offer after we estimated the sum of repairs needed on the home, we very much thank Mr. Begg for making our first attempt at a home inspection as pleasant as it could possibly be.  We know that in the future, we will be requesting Mr. Begg's services in our quest to find our first home.

I am a licensed landscape architect and in the business of construction - I've done a number of historic renovations, both as the designer and as a do-it-yourself contractor and thought I knew what i was looking for in this old house but Tom found a number of other items and gave outstanding, practical and useful advice. Yes. The inspector was Tom Begg. He was a quite gently personality without the 'ego-maniac' type personality or mentality that is sometimes found in some inspectors. He was instead reassuring with the young man buying the home. Tom was not an alarmist.

Thomas K. Begg-He was fantastic. He answered my questions and explained things to me in a way that I would understand and when I did not he would explain it again in a different way until I got it. He constantly emphasized the fact that I could ask him anything I had questions or concerns about. He also provided information about the life expectancy for certain objects (furnace, water heater, roof, etc) as well as how often maintenance was needed and when it should be provided. I felt very comfortable with his abilty in the inspection process.

Tom provided us with an inspection above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt in good hands as he climbed down from the roof and gave us a warm and friendly greeting. He walked us through the entire inspection and explained each step as we went. He entertained all our questions and showed an eagerness to educate as we proceeded. We felt comfortable as well as confident with Toms inspection and his presentation. It was a very professional and pleasant experience. A 10 out of 10 for sure and I will refer Tom to any one needing his service.

THE REPORT

Wow!! I was expecting a sort report....I have shown the binder to three friends. All were amazed at the information.

It is wonderful, because it is very informative and easy to follow... this really helped to expedite the purchase of my home. Other inspection companies take their time to prepare their reports. This really helped enable us to close on house in under two weeks.

We think our report is great and that it will be a valuable tool and reference guide for us after we are in our new home. We were also impressed by the fact that we can contact the inspection company for information in the future, including using this web site for information. All in all, we were very pleased.
