Bruce Schaefer The inspection on the
property was very thorough, informative and professional. From beginning
to end, I was encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification on every
aspect of the property's construction, mechanical systems and maintenance.
I believe I gained valuable information about the property, and I was also
encouraged to seek outside sources (contractors/town) for answers to
questions which were not immediately available at the property. The
inspector was articulate and clear in his explanations and evaluations.

Tom Tussing, Absolutely wonderful, he
knew his stuff and he took the time to really explain things to us. My
husband and I are very happy that we picked Schaefer home inspection. I
cant say enough, the home inspector was wonderful. I would definitely

the home were there during our inspection and kept interrupting and
"seemingly" trying to have us bypass certain areas (the central air and

your inspector Thomas K. Begg. My husband Daniel and myself were very
impressed with Mr. Begg's patience with our never ending questions and his
willingness to stop at any moment to address any of our concerns. As first

Mr. Begg gave us all the appropriate information to help guide us in our

The Inspection was
very thorough and complete. Thomas Begg, our inspector was very thorough
and explained everything he saw. He took his time going through the house,
and pointed out some things we didn't see. We were very happy with the

Yes. The inspector was
Tom Begg. He was a quite gently personality without the 'ego-maniac' type
personality or mentality that is sometimes found in some inspectors. He
was instead reassuring with the young man buying the home. Tom was not an
alarmist.
Thomas K. Begg-He was fantastic. He
answered my questions and explained things to me in a way that I would
understand and when I did not he would explain it again in a different way
until I got it. He constantly emphasized the fact that I could ask him
anything I had questions or concerns about. He also provided information
about the life expectancy for certain objects (furnace, water heater,
roof, etc) as well as how often maintenance was needed and when it should
be provided. I felt very comfortable with his abilty in the inspection
process.
My wife and the other agent were impressed with
Tom's professional approach...he covered everything. I knew he would as
I make note of inspectors who do a top notch for my real estate clients.
I asked for him when the inspection was scheduled as my wife and I
wanted a quality job.

great job showing and telling me what he was doing and why. He also
communicated which 'defects' were more serious than others

We had Skip Bligh perform an inspection this
morning on a house in Fairfield that we are considering purchasing. The
house is over 230 years old and we were looking for someone with
experience and knowledge of antique homes. We consider ourselves

THE REPORT
Wow!! I was expecting a sort report.
Instead I received a binder with the inspection and a virtual
encyclopedia. I find the appendix very useful. I appreciate the post
inspection section and the envelopes where I can Store my documents. I
have shown the binder to three friends. All were amazed at the
information.
It is
wonderful, because it is very informative and easy to follow. The other
great thing is that you delivery on the spot, this really helped to
expedite the purchase of my home. Other inspection companies take their
time to prepare their reports. This really helped enable us to close on
house in under two weeks.
We think our
report is great and that it will be a valuable tool and reference guide
for us after we are in our new home. We were also impressed by the fact
that we can contact the inspection company for information in the future,
including using this web site for information. All in all, we were very
pleased.
