Schaefer Inspection Service has continued to serve our clients and their designees through the inspection process during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to safely monitor all suggested and mandated protocols to keep our clients, real estate agents, and employees safe. These protocols include social distancing and wearing personal protective equipment, including masks and shoe covers. We ask that participation in the inspection be limited to our clients and the agents, both for safety of those of us entering the home, as well as the homeowners. This also helps ensure that the clients may be free of distraction so that the inspector can include you in the ‘discovery’ process. Let us know if you have questions or requests to keep everyone comfortable throughout the process.
- Please prioritize the inspection appointment to gather information on the property condition. (This is not the time to measure, have other appointments or give tours of the house to your family/friends!!)
- If you, or anyone you have been in contact with has been sick please do not attend the inspection. Our inspectors are happy to consult with you on the phone after the inspection if you are unable or uncomfortable attending the inspection.
- Maintain your social distance between yourself and your inspector.
