Bruce Schaefer

Co-Owner | Inspector

Bruce graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, in 1977 with a BS in Accounting. Throughout his career, he has developed raw land, constructed both residential and commercial properties, and managed them with hands-on expertise. He is licensed as a home inspector in Connecticut, is a certified ASHI Inspector, holds a supervisory pest control license for wood-destroying insects, and has earned NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program) certification for radon testing.

Bruce has also been a leader in the building and inspection community. He served as president of the New Haven chapter of the National Association of Home Builders, where he was honored as Builder of the Year, and he currently serves on the Connecticut Home Inspection Licensing Board. With decades of experience and deep industry knowledge, Bruce provides buyers, sellers, and real estate agents with the confidence that comes from trusted, thorough inspections and reliable evaluations of property integrity.

When he is not inspecting homes, Bruce enjoys skiing, biking, and spending time with his grandkids. He is also known for tackling DIY projects around the home—his wife, Jill, proudly says that Bruce can solve most problems with his hands.
