Mike Salzillo

Mike Salzillo has been an inspector with Schaefer Inspection Service since 2020. He brings a decade of experience from his family’s business in general construction and finish carpentry, along with several years working in pest control conducting inspections for wood-destroying insects. Mike also serves as a Captain with the New Haven Fire Department, where his career has been dedicated to studying building construction and life safety.

As a home inspector, Mike prides himself on being a strong advocate for his clients, ensuring the safety, reliability, and long-term value of their new homes. His unique background allows him to combine hands-on construction knowledge with a deep understanding of safety standards.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his children and coaching their sports teams, sharing in their excitement as they discover a love for the game.
