Scott Albon

Scott brings 25 years of carpentry and construction experience to his role at Schaefer Inspection Service. He first began learning the trades during college summers, working in the solar heating industry where he installed roof panels and gained valuable knowledge in plumbing techniques and water heating systems.

Although Scott went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Bacteriology from Wagner College—which he applied in several teaching positions and as a Research Associate at Yale—he always found himself drawn back to his true passion: building. Over the years, he worked as a lead carpenter for several crews before successfully running his own home improvement company for 10 years.

At Schaefer Inspection Service, Scott combines his love of teaching with his construction expertise, providing clients not only with a thorough inspection but also an educational experience that helps them feel confident and informed throughout the home-buying process.
