Scott Albon

Scott joins our team at Schaefer Inspectors after 25 years of experience in carpentry and construction. Each summer during college, Scott began learning the trades as an assistant in the Solar Heating Industry, installing roof panels and learning about plumbing techniques and water heating systems. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Bacteriology from Wagner College, and although that was used for several teaching positions and to become a Research Associate at Yale, Scott always gravitated back to his passion of building. After years of being a lead carpenter for a few different crews, Scott successfully ran his own Home Improvement Company for 10 years. He brings his love of teaching and passion for building to Schaefer to provide an educational experience for our clients to gain a valuable lesson in the home-buying process.
