Bill Wilkes

Inspector

Through his years of military service, lengthy teaching career, and dedication to his family, Bill Wilkes has spent his entire life in service to others. Bill grew up assisting his father, a plumber, during summers off from high school and college. He learned at a young age how to install and replace boilers and water heaters, piquing his interest in home improvement. He later worked to build and remodel homes, decks, barns, and sheds. Bill owned and operated a fencing company, and worked as a tree climber and landscaping foreman for four years.

Bill also spent eight years in the military as a Fire Support Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Following his years of service, he taught high school math for 22 years.

Bill’s passion is working with people. He believes working as a home inspector is the perfect fit for him, and is a culmination of everything he’s done in his life. When he’s not inspecting homes, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife of 17 years, Claire. They have two sons (ages 14 and 11) who are both Boy Scouts. Bill enjoys working with their troop, planning activities and outings for the scouts.
